ITINERARY
Day 01: June 05. Arrive Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport. Welcome by Blue Sky staff company guide and transfer to Hotel.
Day 2: June 06. Flight to Skardu
Early hours transfer to airport for flight to Skardu, but very dependant on weather conditions. Alternately, we take two day drive to Skardu, along the Karakorum Highway. We stay overnight at Chilas,
Day 3: June 07. Skardu (2,350 m)
In case the flight operate than we have a free day If we are driving the road journey today will be 7-8 hrs to Skardu (275km) along the Indus River. Afternoon breifing in the Ministry of Tourism, Skardu.
Day 4: June 08. Drive to Askoli (3050m)
Having an early breakfast we start our jeep journey(6-7 hrs) along the Shigar and Braldu valleys to Askoli village (3050m),
Day 5: June 09. Trek to Jhola(3,200m)
After an early breakfast and distribution of luggage among porters, we start the trek (6 hrs) Jhula..
Day 6: June 10. To Paiju (3,450m)
We leave Jhola early for Paiju (3450m) 6,7 hours trekking.
Day 7: June 11. Paiju
A relaxation, acclimatization and preparations day at Paiju.
DAY 8: June 12. Trek to Urdukas (4,200m)
Today we will cross the Baltoro Glacier. We cross the glacier to the southern side and continue along an ablation valley to our campsite at Urdukas.
DAY 9: June 13. Trek to Goro (4,300m)
Trek to Goro from Urdukas is easy due to the bare glacier. There are breathtaking views all around us. Heading ahead there are Broad Peak (8047m) and Gasherbrum IV (7925m) on the right side the Mashabrum Group and the left the Trango group of peaks situated. 4-5 hours trekking
DAY 10: June 14. Trek to Concordia (4,650m)
After three to four hour trek, today, we will reach Concordia, the Throne Room of the Mountain Gods.. We will camp at the confluence of the Baltoro and Godwin Austin Glaciers.
DAY 11. June 15. Trek to K-2 Base Camp
3 to 4 hours trek will take us to the base camp of K-2. We will erect our tents for the rest of the climbing period here.
DAYS 12: June 16 July 26 July (Climbing Days)
Days 52-57: 27 July to 1st August Return to Askole.
Day 58: August 02 Drive to Skardu – Afternoon debriefing at Ministry of Tourism Office, Skardu
DAY 59: August 03 Transfer to airport for flight to Islamabad if the flight operate, otherwise drive (9 hours) to Chilas along the Karakorum Highway.
DAY 60: August 04 Free day in Islamabad or drive to Islamabad from Chilas for 12 hours.
DAY 61: August 05 Onward flight
